Sandra's classes have helped me so much throughout the years. When I first started working with Sandra, I was mostly involved with singing, dancing and print advertising. The techniques she taught in her class gave me the skills and confidence to transition into acting. I especially love her scene study classes. I still use the techniques she taught me to break down the character in the scene and gain more understanding of the role. Sandra has also coached me through many auditions, helping me put my best foot forward for the job. Thank you!!

"Sandra Landers' unique approach to acting drastically improved how I explore playing characters! I find myself still drawing upon her simple lessons such as locating your character's center & how this changes their physicality, demeanor, tone, and speech. She's a modern master at extracting the best from actors, identifying their strengths while flushing out actors' weaknesses for the stage & screen!"

"I began my artistic journey twelve years ago when I first began taking acting classes. Sandra was one of the very first teachers that I was able to meet and work with and ever since then she has continued to teach me how I can be a better actress. Sandra is unlike many other teachers you will find, she always pushed me to do my best and always taught me not to “act” but to really be the character I am portraying and to create real emotions. Sandra is educated in many different acting techniques and is always able to provide many different approaches to help you find the method that works best for you. Because of the knowledge and support that Sandra had provided me with, I followed her from one acting school to another. With the help of Sandra I was able to book numerous jobs where I was able to gain publicity as well as meaningful connections. From here, I was confident enough to enter into different fields of performing as well and Sandra continued to support and lead me. Sandra is an amazing teacher all around for any age of students. I definitely recommend her as a teacher, leader, and friend in anyone’s artistic endeavors."

I remember, very clearly, the first moment I knew I was an actor. It happened in my first class with Sandy. Never had I felt such power and connectivity. I’ve been hooked on the art form ever since.

Sandy has the ability to see her students with a clarity that allows for them to find any character they are working on. She cuts through to the heart of the work and gives you the confidence and nuance needed to find the technical needs of the piece, all while transcending your own mental blocks.

She has worked with me on everything from meisner technique, to dialect work, to physicality and even audition technique.

I can very honestly say that I have taken her lessons into every aspect of my creative and professional work. I was so lucky to be able to work with her early in my career and am even luckier that she continues to make herself available as a mentor and support system. There is no one better.

"Sandy was my first acting teacher; I looked forward to the classes every week! Sandy's classes are full of guidance, play, and variety. I first learned about the Meisner acting technique through Sandy's classes, and then, later on, went to study it further in New York. Her wisdom and guidance on acting has opened many doors for me. It's a true gift to study with her!"

"Hello this is Da'Jour Jones actor, comedian, poet and music artist I've taken Mrs Sandra Turners class several times over a several year time period and I've never been disappointed its a very professional atmosphere and I learned so much when it comes to acting. One of the biggest things i took from her class is that the little things matter and no matter how small it is always pay attention to the details.I was just casted for season 2 of That Damn Michael Che  for 2022 as I was lucky enough to get casted for season 1, catch me on HBO Max and I'm also a lead on a upcoming show on CBS Paramount Plus."

I'm so lucky that I found Sandy when I was sixteen years old. My only real experience at the time was overacting in school plays and impersonating Jim Carrey religiously. Working with Sandy was revolutionary because she was able to show me the true process and work that goes into acting and auditioning. It never felt like studying. Sandy made every class and audition prep session feel like I was learning with a peer who loved acting just as much as I did. There isn't a time that I'm on set or auditioning that Sandy's lessons don't come into play and save the day. I'm forever grateful for her guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the years. Sandy is one of the only people I've ever coached with who I felt truly cared about me as a person even outside my acting career and I'm so grateful that I also get to call her a friend.

"Sandy was my acting coach and mentor throughout high school and for that I will always be grateful! Sandy helped me feel prepared and confident when transitioning into my college BFA at NYU. She always made class fun and engaging, while also always treating us as professional actors. Her class is more than just an acting class, but a class that prepares you for the realities of the profession. Sandy helps guide you through the industry and is an amazing resource as a young artist starting out. Thank you Sandy!"

"Sandy was an invaluable mentor, acting teacher, and friend to me as I grew up and into my artistic self in Philadelphia. I am so appreciative of everything she taught me and the way she cares for her students. Whether you need coaching, classes, or purely advice, Sandy is an amazing resource. Since my time acting in Philadelphia where I grew up, I have graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in drama, moved to Los Angeles, and have starred in 5 feature films and several other commercials and projects. I am currently shooting another starring role in LA and am producing 2 feature films, one of them being a sequel to 'I Am Lisa', a thriller I star in as Lisa, which is currently streaming on Peacock."

It would be factually accurate but ultimately untrue to say that Sandy taught me acting. What Sandy taught me was how to think and communicate like an artist. By which I really mean that she taught me to utilize empathy — for myself and for others — in life and in my work. She helped me understand how to think about what it is to be a human being and what it is to feel and what it is to identify the feelings of others and relate to them. I am grateful everyday for her influence on my life.

"Over the many years of being taught by Sandy Turner, I could not have imagined having a better acting teacher. When I first started taking her classes, I was just starting to get interested in acting. I was not good, to put it bluntly. Sandy, however, recognized potential and did not give up. She helped me work through my fears of being emotionally raw and my acting work improved because of it. Her classes are more than just learning how to act on stage or on camera, they help on a personal level as well. I could not recommend a better acting teacher for aspiring actors."
